Privacy Policy

1. Scope of this policy
This document describes how the website aetherplatform.app handles personal data collected through contact forms and transactional reply email. The Aether platform itself is in homologation and does not operate on a self-service model: platform clients sign their own contracts that define data handling during operation. Those contracts take precedence over this policy for data internal to the operation.
2. Who is the controller
Aether Platform — a project currently structuring its legal entity. Legal name, CNPJ, and full address will be published on this page upon closing the pre-seed round. Until then, the contact point responsible for data handling is contact@aetherplatform.app.
3. What data we collect
Only what you voluntarily submit through the /contact forms (name, email, optional message, and profile-specific fields — organization, job title, size, vertical, etc.). For abuse prevention, we temporarily record the source IP of requests in the rate-limit log (held in memory for 60 seconds and then discarded). We do not use third-party analytics, tracking cookies, or advertising pixels.
4. Why we collect it
Form data is used exclusively to: (a) respond to the contact you initiated, (b) qualify the contact for the appropriate conversation (investor, company, partner, or other), and (c) comply with legal obligations when applicable. Legal basis under LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law): performance of preliminary steps related to a contract (art. 7, V) and legitimate interest for abuse prevention (art. 7, IX).
5. Who we share with
Contact forms deliver content via transactional email. Sub-processors involved: Resend (transactional email delivery, processing in the US) or a proprietary webhook, depending on environment configuration. We do not sell, rent, or transfer data to third parties for commercial purposes. Legal-request sharing occurs only upon a valid court or administrative order.
6. How long we retain data
Contact messages are kept for as long as necessary to handle the conversation they originated. When a conversation closes without progression, records are discarded within 12 months. You may request early deletion at any time through the channel below.
7. Your rights (LGPD)
Under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD — Brazilian General Data Protection Law), you may at any time: confirm whether your data is being processed, access your data, correct it, request deletion, request portability, revoke consent, and obtain information about sharing. Requests are responded to within 15 business days via the email below.
8. Cookies and local storage
The site does not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. The only information stored locally in your browser is your theme preference (light or dark), saved in localStorage and never sent to the server. You may clear it at any time through your browser settings.
9. Data Protection Officer (DPO) and contact
The Data Protection Officer (DPO) will be formally appointed by the time the pre-seed round closes. Until that appointment, any privacy-related request or question may be sent to

This policy is versioned (v1, v2, …) and each relevant change increments the version and the date above. Changes that materially affect data handling are communicated by email to individuals who have had contact registered in the past 12 months. contact@aetherplatform.app.
